{ Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 6 : 03 p.m.

Mayor Tate announced the City Council would conduct a closed �
! session to discuss personnel (applicants for the City Manager' s �
jposition) under amendments to Article 6252-17, V.A.T.C.S. , �

� Subsection 2 (g) . �
The City Council reconvened in open session at 7 :40 p.m. and �
� Council Member Wilbanks made a motion, seconded by Council Member ;
Traverse, to continue the Executive Session to Tuesday, January 17, F
! 1989, in the Council Chambers, Municipal Court Room #205, 307 West `
; Dallas Road at 7 :25 p.m. The motion prevailed by the following
�
vote:
� Ayes . Tate, Ware, Glynn, Spencer, Wilbanks & Traverse -
' Nays . None

Council Member Wilbanks made a recommendation the Executive Session
be continued to Wednesday, January 18, 1989 at 5 : 00 p.m. in the

i Traverse, to continue the Executive Session to Wednesday,
January 18 , 1989 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, Municipal °

the City Manager ' s position.
NOTE: Mayor Tate arrived during the clased session.
The City Council reconvened in open sessic�n and Mayor Tate �
announced there was na action necessary as a result of the �
Executive Session. Y

There being no further business to discuss, Council Member Traverse �
offered a motion ta adjourn the meeting at ? s25 p.m. Council �
Member Spencer seconded the motian which prevailed by the following �
vote:
