The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Special
Session on this the lst day of February, 1989 at 7 :30 p.m. in the
Council Chambers, Municipal Court Room #205, 307 West Dallas Road, '.
with the following members present to-wit: '`

constituting a quorum, with the following members of the City
Staff:

CALL TO ORDER ;
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 7: 33 p.m.
ITEM 1 . EXECUTIVE SESSION

Mayor Tate announced the City Council would recess to Conference '
Room #204 to discuss pending or contemplated litigation (regarding
the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Board' s recent decision
regarding proposed Runway 16/34 West) under amendments to Article
6252-17 , V.A.T.C.S. , Subsection 2 (e) .
All Council Members were present upon reconvening in the Council
Chambers.
Acting City Manager Kelvin Knauf recommended that the Council
retain Mr. Robert Power and Mr. Eliot Cutler as Special Counsel for
airport related matters. �

Council Member Glynn made a motion to retain Mr. Robert Power and �
Mr. Eliot Cutler as Special Counsel for airport related matters. `"
Council Member Wilbanks offered a second to the motion which f
