The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Special
Session on this the 16th day of February, 1989 at 7 :30 p.m. at the �
Grapevine Convention Center, Chenin Blanc I & II, 1209 South Main r
Street with the following members present to-wit: �
William D. Tate Mayor
Ted R. Ware Mayor Pro Tem
Jim Glynn Council Member �
Sharron Spencer Council Member �
C. Shane Wilbanks Council Member s
Gil Traverse Council Member
constitutinq a quorum, with Council Member Lynn R. Niedermeier �
absent, with the following members of the City Staff:
Kelvin Knauf Acting City Manager
John F. Boyle, Jr. City Attorney
Linda Huff City Secretary

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order at 7: 45 p.m.
INVOCATION
Council Member Glynn delivered the Invocation.

ITEM 1. EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Tate announced the City Council would conduct a closed
session to discuss pending or contemplated litigation (regarding
the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport Board' s recent decision :
regarding proposed Runway 16/34 West) under amendments to Article -
6252-17, V.A.T.C.S. , Subsection 2 (e) .
Al1 Council Members were present except Council Member Neidermeier,
upon reconvening in open session.
Acting City Manager Kelvin Knauf reported there was no action
necessary as a result of the Executive Session.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, Council Member
Spencer made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:35 p.m. Mayor
Pro Tem Ware seconded the motion which prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes . Tate, Ware, Glynn, Spencer, Wilbanks & Traverse
Nays . None
Absent: Niedermeier
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS on this the '7th day of March , 1989 .
