As a resident of Grapevine and a mother, I am very pleased at the idea of the proposed large-cart
recyciing pilot program. The mare we recycle,the less vve put inta a landfill and ultimately, (hapefully)
the less we shau]d pay for the landfill's use.
We are the anly family on the black that has bin lids, which we were required by the city to pay for, a
complete disincentive to their use. 4ur recycling items are nat ruined by rain and don't blow t�awn the
street. The larger carts with attached lids are ideal.
We should da everything we can to make our city the "cleaner, greener" Grapevine the residents and our
children deserve.
