Dawson City Manager � Kelvin Knauf Assistant City Manager � � Jodi Bro�m Secretary � Ralph Seeley Director of Finance � � CAI� TO ORDER � � l � Mayor Powers called the meeting to order. � � F`, 'I WORKSHOP, PROPOSID 1987-88 BUDGET � G � � � The following General FUnd departmental requests were reviewed in detail: Fire, Parks & Recreation, Library, Econanic Develognent, and Public Works. N1ost proposals remained at current service levels, with the addition of f' ` $67,000 to the Parks & Recreation Fund for an indoor recreation center at � Grapevine Middle Center. Concerns in the travel account for Econanic � Develop�ent department were reviewed in length, and Council asked Sta.ff to ; prepare a list of tentative reductions. �` � A brief recess was then taken by the City Council before continuing the budget � � workshop. Al1 Council Mem}�ers were present upon reconvening mr.�t�entarily. ; �: � Proposed revenue and expenditures for the Convention & Visitors Bureau Ftiind �' j were reviewed. Staff reviewed Hotel/Motel Occupancy Tax receipts and �' 1 projected that the amounts received would increase due to increased hotel � charges. � I �' I Consideration of the Golf Course F�terprise Fund follow�ed. Proposed fee � R � increase was review�d, as well as the expenditures and revenues of the Golf �: Course. Included in the expenditures was the repayment of the original bonds = � sold to build the Golf Course, which warranted the increase in fees. � � Followi.ng these presentations, it was determined that the remainder of the � � funds would be reviewed on Z'hursday, August 27, 1987 at 6:00 p.m. �, AA70UR1�1T � s i The deliberations of the City Council having been concluded, Mayor Pro Tem ` � Ware offered a motion to adjourn.
