He and Mayor Pawers then presented the Grapevine Garden Club with a Plaque of Appreciation for their cammxnity involvement and volunteer services to the landscaping projects. Garden Club memb�rs Mrs. Jcetta King and Mrs. Gloria Stewart were each recognized for their outstanding contri.butions to the beautification , projects of the City by a presentation of plaques. iPRESENTATION, FINANCE DIRDLZ'OR I Mayor Pawers recognized Finance Director Ralph Seeley as .one of 20 members of � the 570 member Goverr�ment Finance Officers Association of Texas to achieve the � designation of Certified Government Finance Officer. Hardy advised the proposed amenc�nts ( to Section 49 Special Use Permits would regulate sexually oriented businesses � within the City. He noted there have been no problems that generated the � proposed amenc�nents. ; There were no questions or cotmients fran the Council or Comnission. Funding and installation of the furnishings is through Civic Center bonds in the amount of $200,000.00. Ms. Neilson noted the Facilities Cceimittee, as well as Hatfield Holccgnb Architects, had reviewed the recannended bid awards.
