� The zneeting was called ta order by Mayor Paw�rs. �

� .RESOLUI'I{7N, RATIFYING ALL ACTION T�� AI�RIL 6, 1987

' The only order of business for the City Courrcil to consider was a resolution
j ratifying Resolution Na. 8?-18 and alI action taken on April 6, 198?. '
,
� Mayor Powers then advised that a guorum consists af five Council Members and
� that on April 6, 1987 �.here were only four members present �o conduct
I busir�ess. The proposed resolut.i.on w�uld ratify Resalution No. 87-18 and all
� action taken on April 6, 1987 that declared Ted R. Ware the winner in the
� Place 5 race and called a run-off election bet�een Richard Atkins and Gil
� Traverse in Place 6. The rtan-aff election we�uld be held April 25, 1987.
The caption of the propased resalution was read into the recard.
After brief discussian, Cotzncil Men�aer Wilbar�ks made a motian the resolutian
' be adopted ratifying Resalution Na. 87-18 and all action taken during the
April 6, 1987 meeting. Cauncil Member Glynn affered a secand ta the motion,
' which prevailed by the ensuing vote:
' Ayes . Powers, Ware, Glynn, Spencer, & Wiibanks
Nays . None
; Absent: Dyer & Niedermeier
