The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and staff recommend the Council approve
Adopt-An-Area agreement with the following group. A copy of the agreement is
attached for review.
• Jay Johnson's Boot Camp Fitness for William D. Tate Avenue from Mustang Drive to
just past Timberline Drive
Adopt-An-Area signage would be placed at both ends of these areas. The total cost of
the signage for this is approximately $150 and will come from the Grounds Maintenance
Account 100-42205-312-3.
The proposed agreement is for a period of two years and require the applicant to pick up
litter a minimum of six times per year. The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board approved
the agreement at their May 15, 2014 meeting. The Board and staff recommend
approval of the agreement.
