RESOLUTION NO. R 64-7 <br /> Whereas, the City Council is desireous of making the City of <br /> Grapevine a safer place in which to live and travel and , <br /> Whereas, there is an ever increasing need for certain traffic <br /> control devices at certain intersections within the corporate <br /> limits, and , <br /> Whereas, much study and thought has been given to these problems <br /> by the City Council , <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, THAT: <br /> Section 1 . Stop signs be errected at the following intersections <br /> to indicate that a full stop must be made before proceeding into <br /> or through the intersections; <br /> A. Stop on East college at the intersection of Main Street . <br /> B. Stop on Ruth Street at its intersection with East Wall St. . <br /> C. Stop on Eckley with its intersection with East Wall Street. <br /> D. Stop on Azalea Drive with its intersection with West Wall <br /> Street. <br /> E. Stop on the North and South side of Ruth Street with its <br /> intersection with East Worth Street. <br /> Section 2. Two-way traffic be permitted on Ridge Road by deleting <br /> Part "E" under Section 2 of Resolution R 63-12 dated the 16th day <br /> of July 1963. <br /> Section 3. The authority for the errection of the foregoing signs <br /> and the enforcement of the regulations therein represented has <br /> been vested in the City Council by the City of Grapevine, Ordinance <br /> No. 54.-8 passed and approved the 2nd day of March, 1954. <br /> Section 4 . This resolution, not being a penal ordinance in itself <br /> need not be published to be effective and is effective upon the <br /> passage by the City Council and the errection fo the aforementioned <br /> signs. <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED, this the 5th day of IVB, 1964. <br /> C` <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> C y- - ecre ary <br />
