ORDINANCE NO. 98-106 <br /> '� � AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 98-60 <br /> RELATIVE TO THE FISCAL YEAR 1997-98 BUDGET BY <br /> AMENDING SECTION 1; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br /> AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> WHEREAS, the Fiscal Year 1998 Sales Tax Revenues are exceeding budgeted <br /> FY-98 Sales Tax Revenues in excess of $434,700.00, resulting in unbudgeted General <br /> Fund revenues; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Sales Tax Revenues projected for the remainder of FY 98 are <br /> expected to continue to exceed budgeted revenues in excess of revenues required for <br /> General Fund expenditures in FY 98; and <br /> WHEREAS, $434,700.00 is needed for additional costs associated with unfunded <br /> needs for Fiscal Year 1998 delineated as follows: <br /> ._ , Bear Creek Park Restrooms $95,000 <br /> Parr Park Restrooms 40,000 <br /> � Playgrounds (Banyan, Parkwood, Cluck) 90,000 <br /> Western Oaks/Belfort Park 50,000 <br /> Horseshoe Trails Overlay 65,000 <br /> Median Irrigation 59,700 <br /> Grapevine Middle School Playground 35,000 <br /> Total $434,700 and; <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate $434,700.00 for completion of said <br /> unfunded projects. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: <br /> Section 1. That all the above premises are true and correct and are hereby <br /> incorporated into this ordinance as if copied in their entirety. <br /> Section 2. That funds in the amount of$434,700.00, authorized by this ordinance, <br /> are appropriated for expenditures from the General Fund as described above. <br /> `°`°'° Section 3.
