� <br /> a <br /> � <br /> � � • ORDINANCE NO. 98-84 <br /> ' 3 <br /> ���:3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> �.w ,3 GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, ABANDONING AND VACATING A TEN <br /> -� FOOT (10') UTILITY EASEMENT DEDICATED IN LOT 4, <br /> - BLOCK 7, HUNTERS RIDGE ADDITION IN EXCHANGE FOR <br /> �x THE DEDICATION OF A SIX FOOT (6') UTILITY EASEMENT <br /> IN LOT 4, BLOCK 7, HUNTERS RIDGE ADDITION, CITY OF <br /> u GRAPEVINE, TEXAS; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY <br /> �:� CLAUSE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY AND PROVIDING <br /> �_< AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> ..% <br /> ��:., <br /> WHEREAS, a ten foot (10') utility easement dedicated in Lot 4, Block 7, Hunters <br /> Ridge Addition, recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 661, Plat Records of Tarrant County, more <br /> specifically described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br /> purposes, is not needed for public use and will not be needed in the future for public use; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the owners of Lot 4, Block 7, Hunters Ridge Addition have requested <br /> �� the City of Grapevine to abandon and vacate said ten foot (10') utility easement; and <br /> � WHEREAS, the request for abandonment and vacation has been reviewed and <br /> approved by the franchised utilities in the City of Grapevine; and <br /> WHEREAS, abandoning and vacating this portion of said utility easement will <br /> relieve the City of Grapevine, Texas from the cost and expense of maintaining said <br /> property; and <br /> WHEREAS, in exchange for abandoning and vacating said utility easement, the City <br /> will receive a six foot (6') utility easement in Lot 4, Block 7, Hunters Ridge Addition, more <br /> specificatly described in Exhibit "B" attached hereto and incorporated herein for all <br /> purposes dedicated by the owners of Lot 4, Block 7, Hunters Ridge Addition to the City of <br /> Grapevine. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: <br /> Section 1. That all matters stated in the preamble of this ordinance are true and <br /> correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of this ordinance as if copied <br /> ;� <br /> in their entirety. <br />
