ORDINANCE NO. 91-22
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
'�°�' OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AMENDING THE GRAPEVINE
CODE OF ORDINANCES BY AMENDING CHAPTER 24,
SECTION 24-9 BY REQUIRING A MASTER WATER
METER TO RECORD WATER USAGE FOR UTILITY
BILLING PURPOSES IN TRAILER PARKS (MOBILE
HOME PARKS) ; REPEALING CONFLICTING
ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A PENALTY OF NOT TO
EXCEED THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS
($200. 00) FOR EACH OFFENSE AND A SEPARATE
OFFENSE SHALL BE DEEMED COMMITTED EACH DAY
DURING OR ON WHICH AN OFFENSE OCCURS ON
CONTINUES; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS:
Section 1. That Chapter 24 , Section 24-9 of the Grapevine
Code of Ordinances is hereby amended by the inclusion of the
following subsections:
� ., "a. Each trailer park (mobile home park) for utility
billing purposes shall utilize a single master water
meter of sufficient size to provide water service to
�� the park.
b. The Director of Public Works is hereby authorized to
install and maintain a single master water meter for
each trailer park (mobile home park) . Water usage on a
monthly basis will be recorded for utility billing
purposes and a bill will be rendered to the owner of
record of the trailer park.
c. The trailer park (mobile home park) utility service
shall also comply with and be governed under
Chapter 25, (Utilities and Services of the City of
Grapevine Code of Ordinances) . "
Section 2 . Any person, firm or corporation violating any of
the provision of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction in the Municipal Court, shall be
fines an amount not to exceed the sum of Two Hundred Dollars
($200. 00) for each offense and a separate offense shall be deemed
committed each day during or on which an offense occurs or
continues.

Section 3. If any section, article, paragraph, sentence,
clause, phrase or word in this ordinance, or application thereto
any person or circumstance is held invalid or unconstitutional by
the court of competent jurisdiction, such holding shall not
'�°�� affect the validity of the remaining portions of this ordinance;
and the City council hereby declares it would have passed such
remaining portions of this ordinance despite such invalidity,
which remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect.
Section 5. The effective date of this ordinance shall be
November 7, 1991.

April , 1991.
