This letter confirms on July 2, 2020 the Historic Preservation Commission staff approved
with conditions #CA20-59 for the property addressed 334 South Barton Street, legally
described as Block 2, Lot 9R, City of Grapevine Texas. The following was approved on this
Certificate of Appropriateness:
1. Construct a new concrete patio in the north end of the rear yard of the building,
behind the existing wood privacy fence, to serve as an outdoor reception area for
the business;
2. In the remainder of the rear yard of the building, behind the existing wood privacy
fence, regrade the yard for proper drainage and install a pervious artificial turf
product on the ground to allow for low maintenance use of the area for outdoor
program activities;
as per the attached plan and photos, with the condition a permit be obtained from
the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
