This letter confirms on July 17, 2020 the Historic Preservation Commission staff approved
with conditions #CA20-65 for the property addressed 334 South Barton Street, legally
described as Block 2, Lot 9R, City of Grapevine Texas. The following was approved on this
Certificate of Appropriateness:
1) Remove the existing wood privacy fence and gates that runs along the rear of the
property and replace it with a new 6' high cedar privacy fence with details as follows:
a. Fence pickets to be 6" wide cedar, and placed board beside board;
b. Fence rails to be cedar and mounted on metal posts placed on the inside of the
property;
c. A cedar cap is to be placed on the top of the fence;
d. Replace the existing wood double gate with a new wood single access gate;
as per the attached site plan, specifications and photos with the condition a permit be
obtained from the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permits / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
