This letter confirms on July 28, 2020 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA20-68 for the property addressed 513 East Worth, legally described as Block
108, Lot 4, College Heights Addition, Grapevine, City of, Grapevine, Texas. The following was
approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
Construct a new cedar fence along the sides and rear yard of the historic Ezell House as
follows:
1. Fence to be cedar board beside board with dog eared top pickets, mounted on cedar
rails and metal support posts to be boxed in with wood; height of fence to be 6' high
on the south side of the house and along the west side of the house; height of fence
to be 8' high on the east side of the house and on the north side of the rear yard;
2. Two cedar passage gates 6' high, one to be located on each side of the house to
allow access to the side yards;
3. One sliding driveway gate constructed of cedar on the north side of the rear yard to
provide access to the two car detached garage;
as per the attached site plan with the condition a permit is obtained from the Building
Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved Building Permit and a
permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building Department at
817-410-3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
