This letter confirms on August 6, 2020 the Historic Preservation Staff approved with
conditions #CA20-69 for the property addressed 521 Estill Street, legally described as Block
100, Lot 6, College Heights Addition, Grapevine, City of, Grapevine, Texas. The following was
approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
1. Demolish existing non -original carport roof structure attached to the original house;
2. Replace carport roof structure with new construction meeting code;
3. Demolish and remove existing front sidewalk and landing;
4. Replace front sidewalk and landing with new construction;
5. Remove and replace back door of house with wood door;
6. Remove existing "doggie door" and fill in opening to match original wall material;
as per the attached photos, details and site plan with the condition a permit is obtained
from the Building Department.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved Building Permit and a
permit is; / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building Department at
817-410=3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
