The main reason for my decision to buy in the City of Grapevine was due to the wonderful atmosphere and home town feel of the Main Street area. I understand that all the"Wineries" have been closed due to the fact they are grouped into the "bars"category. I would encourage the city to reconsider the blanket closing for many of the wineries serve food as well and can social distance just like a restaurant. Wine Fusion is an huge asset to Grapevine's community and I have enjoyed their food as well as their wine numerous times. It would be sad to see the heart of Grapevine boarded up because these wineries cannot survive. I am asking the city to grant Wine Fusion and other wineries a permit various or change to put them in the category that would allow them open their doors. I have known the Kaufman's for sometime and when we moved to Grapevine they treated us as family and have ever since. Given the extraordinary times we have been facing I truly believe that in order for Grapevine to not lose a business that consistently gives back there needs to be a compromise in order for them to survive.
