My specific opposition is to the height of the requested sing-pole by the business entity filing for a conditional usage application of opening the Volkswagen Automobile sales & service establishment. As I have noted, in the past to the Council, of my general view on business signs, I have nothing in particular against this specific business. However, I generally oppose large, high, and imposing business signs throughout the City of Grapevine. I wish the Council and the Commission would require the sign pole to be no taller than 10 feet at the top of the sign (not the pole). Given the technology of the day, hardly any person would drive around looking for a business sign as opposed to just punch the destination (by specific address, or, general location, or, such)into one's vehicle- navigation system or to obtain the same information(a turn by turn direction) from one's smart-cellphone app available, free of charge, to any smart-cellphone owner/user. There is no need to have an ugly and imposing business sign with the "hope" of attracting customers. Keep Grapevine Beautiful. Regards, M. Aram Azadpour P.O.
