Home My WebLink AboutRES 1995-006 „,�, RESOLUTION NO. 95-06 .,�,., A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY SURPLUS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH EXHIBIT "A”; PROVIDING FOR THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE SALE OF SAID PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Grapevine is in possession of surplus property conveyed to the City by Warranty Deed of Gift, Exhibit "A"; and WHEREAS, declaring surplus and disposing of this property, more specifically described as Tract 13, William Dooley Survey, Abstract No. 422, also identified as 924 South Pine Street, by the City of Grapevine is in the best interest of the health and welfare of the general public. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS: �a�.� Section 1 . That all the matters stated in the preamble of this resolution are '�° " true and correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of this resolution as if copied in their entirety. Section 2. That the property conveyed to the City by Warranty Deed of Gift, Exhibit "A", more specifically described as Tract 13, William Dooley Survey, Abstract No. 422, also identified as 924 South Pine Street, attached hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby declared surplus. Section 3. That the terms and provisions of this resolution shall be deemed to be severable, and that if the validity of any section, subsection, word, sentence or phrase shall be held to be invalid, it shall not affect the remaining portions of this resolution. Section 4. That the City Manager of the City of Grapevine, Texas or his designee, is hereby authorized to conduct the sale of said property. Section 5.
