.,�,., A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS DECLARING CERTAIN PROPERTY
SURPLUS, IN ACCORDANCE WITH EXHIBIT "A”;
PROVIDING FOR THE AUTHORIZATION OF THE SALE OF
SAID PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City of Grapevine is in possession
of surplus property conveyed to the City by Warranty Deed of Gift, Exhibit "A"; and
WHEREAS, declaring surplus and disposing of this property, more specifically
described as Tract 13, William Dooley Survey, Abstract No. 422, also identified as
924 South Pine Street, by the City of Grapevine is in the best interest of the health
and welfare of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:

Section 1 . That all the matters stated in the preamble of this resolution are
'�° " true and correct and are hereby incorporated into the body of this resolution as if
copied in their entirety.
Section 2. That the property conveyed to the City by Warranty Deed of Gift,
Exhibit "A", more specifically described as Tract 13, William Dooley Survey, Abstract
No. 422, also identified as 924 South Pine Street, attached hereto and made a part
hereof, is hereby declared surplus.
Section 3. That the terms and provisions of this resolution shall be deemed
to be severable, and that if the validity of any section, subsection, word, sentence or
phrase shall be held to be invalid, it shall not affect the remaining portions of this
resolution.
Section 4. That the City Manager of the City of Grapevine, Texas or his
designee, is hereby authorized to conduct the sale of said property.
Section 5. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.

That We, KEN DIEI'FENI3ACH and wife, JEANNE DIEFFENBACH, whose
address is 215 Kenrich Drive, Moon Township, PA. 15108, for and in consideration
of our charitable affection for TH� CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS;
Have Gra.nted, Given and Conveyed, and by these presents do Grant, Give and
Convey, unto the said CITY OF GRAP�VINE, TEXAS, hereinafter called "Grantee",
whose address is P.O. Box 95104, Grapevine, Texas 76099, alI that certain tract of
real property including all improvements situated thereon, being more particularly
described as follows, to-wit:
Part of Lot 2, Block 49, ORIGINAL TOWN OF GRAPEVINE, according to
the Plat a.nd Dedication recorded in Volume 309, Page 71, Plat Records,
Tarrant County, Texas, and being same prflperty described as follows:
'�``� Being a tract of land out of the WILLIAM DOOLEY SURVEY, ABST.
�422, situated in the City of Grapevine, Tarrant County, Texas, and
„� � being a portion of the tract described in a deed of record in Volume
4375, Page 360 of the Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
BEGINNING at an iron pin in the West line of Pine Street, said point
� being the East terminus of a line described in a boundary line
agreement as recorded in Volume 5443, Page 344, Deed Records,
Tarrant County, Texas; .
THENCE N. 0 deg. 23 min. W. 66.0 ft. along the Westerly line of said
Pine Street to a point for corner;
THENCE S. 88 deg. 56 min. W. 142.4 ft. to a point in a fence line
running North and South;
THENCE S. 1 deg. 37 min. W. 66.0 ft. along said fence to an iron pin
at the West terminus of the line described in above referenced boundary
line agreement;
THENCE S. 88 deg. 56 min. W. 144.7 ft. to the Place of Beginning and
containing 0.22 acres of land; SAVE AND EXCEPT ANY portion lying in
road or roadway, public or private.
� This conveyance is made subject to any and all easements, restrictions,
covenants, conditions and reservations of record, if any, applicable to the herein
