� A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE,TEXAS CALLING PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR THE
PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE INSTITUTION OF
ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS TO ANNEX ALL THOSE
TRACTS OF LAND DESCRIBED IN EXHIBITS "A", "B", "C",
AND "D" PROVIDING FOR PUBLICATION OF NOTICES
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . Pursuant to and in accordance with Chapter 43, Texas Local
Government Code, the Municipal Annexation Act, public hearings are hereby called
for the dates, times and locations described below for the purposes of considering the
institution of annexation proceedings to annex all those lots, tracts and parcels of land
described in Exhibits "A", "B", "C" and "D", which are attached hereto and

incorporated herein as if copied in their entirety into the body of this resolution:

Section 2. All interested persons shall be given the opportunity to be heard at
said public hearings, which shall be conducted and held not more than forty (40) days
nor less than twenty (20) days prior to the institution of the annexation proceedings.
Section 3. Notice of public hearings.
A. Notice of these public hearings shall be published in a newspaper having
general circulation in the City and in the territory proposed to be
annexed. Said notices shall be accomplished by publication of this
�� resolution in its entirety, including Exhibit "A" through "D" (with
exception of the map1, at least once in said newspaper not more than
twenty (20) days nor fess than ten (10) days prior to each public
�• hearing.
�,,, B. Additional notice by certified mail shall be given to railroad companies
serving the City and on the City's tax roll where the right-of-way is
located within the territory to be annexed.

Section 4. That this resolution shall take effect from and after the date of its
passage.
