The structure on the subject property is scheduled for remodeling to include the removal
of two walls that will require beams to replace the support provided by the two walls.
Construct 3 reinforced concrete spread footings with pier caps in the locations shown.
The specifications are included in this report. Solid concrete blocks can be substituted
for the poured in place pier caps.
Use a triple stud under each beam end over each pier.
The beams should be LVLs. LVL number one should be minimum 5-1/4"x14"and span
approximately 15'. LVL number 2 should be minimum 3-1/2"xl 1-1/4"and span
approximately 13'. LVL number 2 will "T"into LVL number 1 as shown. Use a hanger
supplied by the LVL manufacturer.

strength of approximately 3000 psi @ 28 days and shall consist of no fewer than 5 sacks
