CITY OF GRAPEVINE
The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Special Session on
this the 18th day of P,pril, 1983 at 4:30 p.m, in the Council Chamhers, 413
Main Street, with the follawing persons present to�,vit:

Charles Dunn Council Member

constituting a quonun with Council Member William Shafer absent, with the
follawing members of the City Staff:
James L. Hancock City Manager
Karen Spann Secretary
with City Secretary Shirley Armstrong, Assistant City Manager Bill Eisen, and
City Attorney John F. Boyle, Jr. absent.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tate called the meetixlg to order.
INVOCATION
The Invocation was delivered by Council Mem�er Marion Brekken.

RESULTS OF RUN-OFF II.,D�I'ION
Mayor Tate then stated that the purpose of the meeting was to declare the
results of the April 16, 1983 City Officers Run-Off Election. He then
outlined the election returns.
Secretary Karen Spann read the caption of the proposed resolution.
'I'here being little discussion, Council Member Marion Brekken made a motion to
adopt the resolution declaring the results of the April 16 City Officers
Run-0ff Election. The motion was seconded by Mayor Pro Tem Ted Ware and
prevailed by the follawing vote:
Ayes . Tate, Ware, Oliver, Dunn, Brekken, & Dyer
Nays . None
Absent: Shafer
