CITY OF GRAPEVINE
The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Special Session on
this the 12th day of May, 1983 at 4:30 p.m. with the following persons present
to-,wit:
. William D. Tate Mayor
Ted R. Ware Mayor Pro Tem
Charles Dunn Council Member
Marion Brekken Council Nlesnber
Jim Glynn Council Member
constituting a quonun with Council Meanbers Larry Oliver and Ron Dyer absent,
with the follawing members of the City Staff:
James L. Hancock City Manager
James R. Baddaker City Engineer
Karen Spann City Secretary
with Assistant City Manager Bill Eisen and City Attorney John F. Boyle, Jr.
absent.
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order.
ON-SITE PUBLIC HEARING, ANNEXATION, HIGH COUNTRY ESTATES, PHASE II
The only item before the City Council was to conduct an on-site public hearing
relative to the annexation of approximately 14 acres of land located in the
G. B. Knight Survey and mpre co�nly referred to as High Country Estates,
�'� Phase II.
�� Mayor Tate declared the public hearing open.
City Manager Jim Hancock briefly outlined the history of the proposed annexa.-
tion and the service plan for this tract of land.
Mayor Tate then asked if there were guests present to speak in regard to the
proposed annexation. There were none.
There being no further discussion, Mayor Pro Tem Ted Ware made a motion to
close the public hearing and adjourn the meeting. The motion, seconded by
Council N�mber Dunri, prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes . Tate, Ware, Dunn, Brekken, & Glynn
Nays . None
Absent: Oliver & Dyer
