NEW BUSINESS City Council to consider a resolution canvassing the ballots of the April 3 , 1982 City Officers ' Election and calling a run-off election if applicable. IV. ADJOURNMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE 6252-17 , V.A.T.C.S. , AS AMENDED BY CHAPTER 227 , ACTS OF THE 61ST LEGISLATURE, REGULAR SESSION, THE SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA WAS PREPARED AND POSTED �"� ON THIS THE 1ST DAY OF APRIL, 1982 AT 10 : 00 A.M. � City ecr a � � STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Special Session on this the 5th day of April, 1982 at 4:30 p.m, in the Council Chambers, 413 Main Street, with the follawing meanbers present to wit: � William D. Tate Mayor Ted R. Ware Mayor Pro Tem C. L. Oliver Council Member Charles Dunn Council Nlember � Marion Brekken Council NiPsnber Ron Dyer Council Member William Shafer Council Nlember constituting a quonun with the follawing members of the City Staff: James L. Hancock City Manager Bill Eisen Assistant City Manager Shirley �nstrong City Secretary (',,,pT,T, TO ORDER Mayor Tate called the meeting to order. INVOCATION The Invocation was delivered by Mayor Pro Tem Ware. RFSOLUTION, ELECTION RESULTS Mayor Tate advised that the sole purpose of the meeting was to consider a �°"-� resolution canvassing the ballots of the April 3, 1982 City Officers' Election and calling a Run-Off Election. �°' The City Secretary read the caption of the proposed resolution and then outlined the results of the election. The Council was advised that the City Staff recommended a 12�zn-Off Election for a decision relative to Place 1 be held on April 17. Mayor Pro Tem Ware then made a mQtion that the resolution be adopted and that a Run-Off Election be called for April 17. The nlotion was seconded by Councilman Oliver and prevailed by the follawing vote: Ayes: Tate, Ware, Oliver, Shafer, Dunn, Brekken, & Dyer Nays: None RESOLUTION N0. 82-13 A RESOI�iJTION DDCI�ARING TF� RESULTS OF THE 1982 CITY OFFICERS' II�7CTION AND CALLING A RUN-0FF II,ECTION ADJOURNN�IT �+ There being no further business to come before the Council, Council Member Brekken made a motion to adjourn.
