� AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS, ABANDONING AND VACATING A PORTION OF
A UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED ON LOT 12 ,
BLOCK 1 , CREEKWOOD WEST, PHASE TWO IN THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, AS HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED; PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, a portion of a utility easement located in the
Creekwood West, Phase Two Addition in the City of Grapevine, Texas,
as hereinafter described, is not needed for public use and will not
be needed in the future for public use; and
WHEREAS, abandoning and vacating this portion of said utility
easement will relieve the City of Grapevine, Texas from the cost and
expense of maintaining said property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY ,
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That a portion of the City of Grapevine' s utility
easement as recorded in Volume 388-163, Page 42 of the Tarrant
County Plat Records, and as shown in Exhibit "A" , attached hereto
and made a part hereof, is hereby abandoned and vacated for public
use and the same is hereby abandoned and vacated insofar as all
public right, title, and interest in and to said described portion

of said utility easement is concerned.
Section 2 . That the terms and provisions of this ordinance
shall be deemed to be severable, and that if the validity of any
section, subsection, word, sentence, or phrase shall be held to be
invalid, it shall not affect the remaining part of this ordinance.
Section 3. The fact that the present ordinances and regula-
tions of the City of Grapevine, Texas, are inadequate to properly
safeguard the health, safety, morals, peace, and general welfare of
the public creates an emergency which requires that this ordinance
become effective from and after the date of its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 17th day of October , 1989 .

Block 1, CREEKWOOD WEST, Phase Two, an Addition to the City of Grapevine,
Tarrant County, Texas, according to the Plat thereof recorded in Vo1um� 38�-163,

described by metes and bounds as Lollows;
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 12;
Thence South 00 deg. 06 min. 00 sec. West, along the East line of said Lot 12,
a distance of 10 feet to a point;
Thence North 89 deg. 27 min. West, parrallel to the North line of said Lot 12,
a distance of 75.0 feet to a point in the West line of said
Lot 12;
Thence North 00 deg. 06 min. 00 sec. East, along the West line of said Lot 12,
a distance of 10 feet to the Northwest corner of said Lot 12;
Thence South 89 deg. 27 min. East, along the North line of said Lot 12, a
distance of 75.0 feet to the point of beginning:
