The original permit expired and the contractor was required to re-apply to have work completed, permit 20-0301. An inspection was attempted on 2/28/20 and was turned down, Overview attached. The contractor has notified us that he has made several attempts to have the work inspected (certified letter attached). To date the work has still not been inspected. Please be advised that the ordinance adopted by the City of Grapevine requires all work requiring a permit to be inspected. Equipment installation or construction work that does not comply with codes and ordinances can cause damage, injury, and death. Our inspectors look closely to ensure that all codes are met and the installation is safe to the best of their knowledge. Until such time as we issue an inspection approval for your work, we cannot confirm that there are no safety violations. Should you continue to refuse to allow inspection as required by city ordinance, this refusal will be documented and placed in the permanent records for your property.
