AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS , AMENDING CHAPTER 23 , SECTION 63
PROHIBITING PARKING AT CERTAIN LO-
CATIONS DESCRIBED HEREIN; AUTHORIZING
THE ERECTION OF TRAFFIC REGULATION
SIGNS; REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDI-
,�. NANCES; PROVIDING A PENALTY NOT TO
EXCEED THE SUM OF TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS
($200 . 00) AND A SEPARATE OFFENSE SHALL
� BE DEEMED COMMITTED UPON EACH DAY
DURING OR ON WHICH A VIOLATION OCCURS;
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY UF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1 . That Chapter 23, Section 63 , of the City Code
of the City of Grapevine, Texas, is hereby amended to include the
following No Parking designation:
Inwood Drive, north side, no parking between Manor Way and
Cross Creek.
Section 2 . That the City Manager, or his agent, is hereby
authorized to have the proper traffic signs erected, constructed,
and placed at such points along said highways, streets, or
alleys, or portions thereof under construction, maintenance, or
repair, so that travelers will be reasonably notified of said
+�"p" traf f ic regulations.
� Section 3 . That all ordinances or any parts thereof in
conflict with the terms of this ordinance shall be and hereby are
deemed repealed and of no force or effect provided, however, that
the ordinance or ordinances under which the cases currently filed
and pending in the Municipal Court of the City of Grapevine,
Texas, shall be deemed repealed only when all such cases filed
and pending under such ordinance or ordinances have been disposed
of by a final conviction or a finding not guilty of nolo
contendere, or dismissal.
Section 4 . Any person, firm, or corporation violating any
of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a
misdemeanor, and upon conviction in the Municipal Court, shall be
fined in an amount not to exceed the sum of Two Hundred Dollars
($200 .00) for each offense and a separate offense shall be deemed
committed upon each day during or on which a violation occurs .
Section 5. If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause,
phrase, or provisions of this ordinance shall be judged invalid
or unconstitutional, the same shall not affect the validity of
this ordinance as a whole or any portion thereof other than that
portion so decided to be invalid or unconstitutional.

Section 6 . The fact that the traffic regulations of the
City of Grapevine, Texas do not adequately regulate the traffic
�,,, within the City creates an urgency and an emergency and the pre-
servation of the public health, safety, and welfare requires that
this ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage and the publication of the caption of said ordinance as
the law and the City Charter is such cases provides.
