AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AMENDING
ORDINANCE N0. 81-61 APPROVING AND
ADOPTING THE COMPREHENSIVE MASTER LAND
USE AND THOROUGHFARE PLAN, UPDATE 1980;
PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY; AND DECLARING
AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Commission has approved and
recommended the Master Land Use and Thoroughfare Plan, Update
1980 , and the City Council has approved same by the passage of
Ordinance No. 81-61 on September 15 , 1981; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Com.mission has reconsidered
the recommended plan and has concluded that it is in the best
interest of the City that the plan be amended; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council does hereby agree and hereby amend -
the T�iaster Land Use and Thoroughfare Plan, Update 1980 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section l . That the Master Plan Land Use Map approved by
Ordinance No. 81-61 and identified as Exhibit "A" , attached
hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes , is hereby
amended to reflect that the Residential--Low Density designation
indicated from Pebblebrook Drive east to Ball Street on the south
side of Wall Street (Grapevine-Keller Road) , extending south a
distance of approximately 225 feet be changed to Low Intensity
Office/Commercial. (Field notes, attached hereto and made a part
hereof as Exhibit "B" , more completely identify the area of this
amendment. )
Section 2 . That this Approved Plan shall be filed for
record in the official City records and the D�ap and Plan shall be
available to the public and to all landowners and used as an
officially approved Land Use and Thoroughfare Plan by the City
Administration, City Planning & Zoning Commission, and City
Council.
Section 3. If any part or portion of this Ordinance is held
to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent juris-
diction, such holding shall in no way affect or invalidate the
remaining portions hereof not so held invalid or unconstitu-
tional.
Section 4. The fact that the present ordinances of the City
of Grapevine, Texas providing for the Comprehensive Master Land
Use and Thoroughfare Plan, Update 1980 , require amendment creates
an emergency for the immediate preservation of the public
business, property, health, safety, and general welfare, which
requires that this ordinance shall become effective from and
after the date of its passage as provided by law, and it is
� accordingly so ordained.

BEGINNING at the intersections of the centerlines of West 47a11
Street, and Ball Street;
