Section 1. The City Code of the City of Grapevine, Texas, Chapter 23,
Section 30, is hereby amended by adding stop signs at the following de-
scribed locations:

Section 2. That the City Manager, or his agent, is hereby authorized
to have stop signs erected, constructed, and placed at such points along
said streets.
Section 3. That all ordinances or any parts thereof in conflict with
the terms of this ordinance shall be and hereby are deemed repealed ar� of
no force or effect pravided, hawever, that the ordinance or ordinances
under which the cases currently filed and pending in the Municipal Court of
the City of Grapevine, Texas, shall be deesr�ed repealed only when all such
cases filed and pending under such ordinance or �ordinances have been
disposed of by a final conviction or a finding not guilty of nolo
contendere, or disnissal.
Section 4. If any section, paragraph, subdivision, clause, phrase, or
provisions of this ordinance shall be judged invalid or unconstitutional,
the same shall not affect the validity of this ordinance as a whole or any
portion thereof other than that portion so decided to be irivalid or unc�n-
- stittitional.
Section 5. Any person, firnn, or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this ordin�nce shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and,
upon conviction in the Municipal Court, shall be fined in an am�unt not to
exceed the stun of � Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense.
Section 6. The fact that the traffic regulations of the City of
Grapevine do not adequately regulate the traffic within the City creates an
urgency and an emergency and the preservation of the public health, safety,
and welfare requires that this ordinance shall take effect imrediately fran
and after its passage and the publication of the captian of sa.id ordinance
as the law and the City Charter in such cases provides.
