AN ORDINANCE AP�IENDING CHAPTER 23,
SECTION 30 , OF THE CITY CODE OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS , BY ADDING STOP
SIGNS AT CERTAIN LOCATIONS DE-
SCRIBED HEREIN; AUTHORIZING THE
ERECTION OF TRAFFIC REGULATION
SIGNS; REPEALING CONFLICTING
ORDINANCES; PROVIDING A SEVER-
ABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING A
PENALTY; AND DECLARING AN
EMERGENCY
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . The City Code of the City of Grapevine ,
Texas , Chapter 23, Section 30 , is hereby amended by adding
stop signs at the following described locations :
A. On Eastbound Fairway Drive (temporary) north
of spillway washout.
B. On Eastbound Fairway Drive (temporary) south
of spillway washout.
C. On Northbound Fairway Drive (temporary) south
of spillway washout.
D. On Southbound Fairway Drive (temporary) north
of spillway washout.
E. Northeast bound Mesa Verde Trail at Panhandle
Drive.
F. Southeast bound Panhandle Drive at Tumbleweed
Trail.
G. Southeast bound Panhandle Drive at Mesa Verde �
Trail.
H. Northeast bound Cripple Creek Trail at Panhandle
Drive.
I. Northwest bound Cripple Creek Trail at Panhandle
Drive.
J. Westbound Cripple Creek Trail at Kimball Road.
K. Northeast bound Tumbleweed Trail at Panhandle
Drive.
L. Northeast bound Tumbleweed Trail at Dove Road.
M. Northwest bound Tumbleweed Trail at Panhandle
Drive.
N. Northwest bound Panhandle Drive at Tumbleweed
, Trail.
Section 2 . That the City Manager or his agent, is
hereby authorized to have stop signs erected, constructed,
and placed at such points along said streets.
Section 3. That all ordinances or any parts thereof
in conflict with the terms of this ordinance shall be and
hereby are deemed repealed and of no force or effect pro-
vided, however, that the ordinance or ordinances under which
the cases currently filed and pending in the Municipal Court
of the City of Grapevine , Texas , shall be deemed repealed
only when all such cases filed and pending under such ordi-
nance or ordinances have been disposed of by a final convic-
tion or a finding not guilty of nolo contendere, or dismissal.
Section 4 . If any section, paragraph, subdivision,
clause , phrase , or provisions of this ordinance shall be
judged invalid or unconstitutional , the same shall not
- affect the validity of this ordinance as a whole or any por-
tion thereof other than that portion so decided to be in-
valid or unconstitutional.
Section 5 . Any person, firm, or corporation violating
any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed
guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction in the Munici-
pal Court, shall be fined in an amount not to exceed the
sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200 . 00) for each offense.
Section 6 . The fact that the traffic regulations of
the City of Grapevine do not adequately regulate the traffic
within the City creates an urgency and an emergency and the
preservation of the public health, safety, and welfare re-
quires that this ordinance shall take effect immediately
from and after its passage and the publication of the cap-
tion of said ordinance as the law and the City Charter in
such cases provides.

GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 20th day of April , 1982 .
