This letter confirms on October 10, 2020 the Historic Preservation Commission staff
approved with conditions #CA20-56 ( c ) for the property addressed 420 East College
Street, legally described as Block 23, Lot 2R1, City of Grapevine Texas. The following was
approved on this Certificate of Appropriateness:
1. Revisions to previously approved detached covered pavilion as follows: add a
new masonry fire place; add a new partial height wall along south side of the
pavilion;
as per the attached plans, specifications, and photos with the conditions a permit is
obtained from the Building Department and all exterior materials, finishes, hardware and
exterior light fixtures are required to be approved on a separate Certificate(s) of
Appropriateness.
An approved Certificate of Appropriateness is not an approved building permit; a
building permit is / is not required. Contact the City of Grapevine's Building
Department at 817.410.3165 for fees and information regarding permits.
