CITY OF GRAPEVINE
The City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in
special session on this the 9th day of April, 1980 at
5 :00 p.m. , Council Chambers, 413 Main Street, with the
following persons present to-wit:

constituting a quorum with Councilman William Shafer
absent, with

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Tate called the meeting to order.
INVOCATION
The Invocation was delivered by Councilman Aulton Mullendore.

RESOLUTION - RESULTS, 1980 CI`i'3.' OFFICERS ELECTION
Mayor Tate advised that the purpose of the meeting was to
canvass the ballots of the April 5, 1980 City Officers
Election.
The City Secretary summarized the contents of the resolution
stating the results of the election. She then officially
advised the Council that 190 paper ballots had been printed
for the purpose of absentee voting. It was further reported
that ninety-three absentee votes had been cast, ninety by
personal appearance and three by mail, and that the remaining
unused ninety-seven ballots had been accounted for. The City
Secretary further stated that the Poll Watcher, Mr. James
Glenn had reported no irregularities.
Mayor Pro Tem Florence made a motion that the resolution
be adopted. The motion was seconded by Councilman Dunn and
prevailed by the following vote:

CITY OFFICER' S ELECTION

A DJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the Council,
Councilman Mullendore made a motion to adjourn. The motion
was secanded by Councilman Ware and prevailed by the following
vote:
