The City Council of the City of Grapevine , Texas met �
in Special City Council Meeting on this 24th day of �
July, 1979 at 5 : 30 P .M. , with the following persons

CALL TO ORDER �

Mayor Tate called the meeting to order. �
�
INVOCATION �
�
�
The Invocation was delivered by Councilman Aulton Mullendore. �
�
INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION �
�
Mayor Tate advised that the purpose of the meeting was for �
the Council to review the newly enacted State Statute ,
relative to industrial development bonds and to take any �
necessary action pursuant to said statute. `
Mr. Ben Brooks , attorne with the firm of Hutchison Price �

Boyle & Brooks explained in detail the provisions of the
Development Corporation Act of 1979 . (A copv of the Develop-
ment Corporation Act of 1979 as well as the proposed rules
and regulations in regard to said act are on file in the �
Office of the City Secretary under the title "Industrial �
Development Corporation") . �
Numerous questions were then asked bv members of the Council .
Mr. Brooks , City Attorney John Boyle, and Financial Advisor �
Mike Ashford responded to the questions .
Following a lengthy discussion, Councilman Mullendore made a
motion to authorize the City Attorney to proceed to work on
the Articles of Corporation for such a non-profit organization
as provided by the Development Corporation Act of �.979 . The �
motion was seconded by Councilman Shafer and prevailed by the �
following vote : �
Ayes : Tate , Oliver, Dunn, Shafer, and Mu].lendore �
Nays : None �
Absent : Florence and Ware

There being no further business to come before the Council,
Councilman Dunn made a motion to adjourn. The motion was t
seconded by Councilman Shafer and prevailed by the following i
