A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS, APPROVING THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE PAY PLANS AND MERIT PAY INCREASE
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
� WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine contracted with Hay &
Associates to conduct an Internal/External Salary Equity Study
for the City of Grapevine employees; and
��
WHEREAS, Hay & Associates, with cooperation from all City
employees, gathered and documented all City jobs, applied the Hay
Guide Chart System of Job Measurement, and surveyed pertinent
public and private sector companies and municipalities developing
comparable market pay practice data.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1 . That the City of Grapevine Graded Pay Plan,
Part-Time and Seasonal Pay Plan and Public Safety Pay Plan are
hereby approved and adopted as shown in Exhibit "A" , attached
hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2 . That the City of Grapevine Merit Pay Increase
Chart attached as Exhibit "B" is hereby approved and adopted.
Section 3 . That the heretofore described schedules shall be
in effect from and after the lst day of October, 1989 .
