A RESOLUTION CALLING PUBLIC HEARINGS FOR
THE PURPOSE OF CONSIDERING THE INSTI-
TUTION OF ANNEXATION PROCEEDINGS TO
ANNEX THE TRACT OF LAND DESCRIBED IN
EXHIBIT "A" ; AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLI-
� CATION OF NOTICES
� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section l . Pursuant to and in accordance with Article 970A
Tex. Rev. Civ. Stat. Ann. , the Municipal Annexation Act, public
hearings are hereby called for the dates, times, and locations
described below for the purposes of considering the institution
of annexation proceedings to annex the Meadowmere Park area at
Grapevine Lake, described in Exhibit "A" , which is attached
hereto and incorporated herein as if copied in its entirety into
the body of this resolution:
FIRST PUBLIC HEARING - Tuesday, July 30 , 1985
Grapevine Concourse - 7 :00 p.m.
3800 Fairway Drive
SECOND PUBLIC HEARING - Tuesday, August 6 , 1985
Grapevine City Hall - 7 :30 p.m.

Section 2 . All interested persons shall be given the
� opportunity to be heard at said public hearings, which shall be
conducted and held not more than forty (40) days nor less than
twenty (20) days prior to the Institution of the Annexation
Proceedings .
Section 3 . Notice of Public Hearings .
A. Notice of these public hearings shall be published
in a newspaper having general circulation in the
City and in the territory proposed to be annexed.
Said notices shall be accomplished by publication
of this resolution in its entirety, including
Exhibit "A" , at least once in said newspaper not
more than twenty (20) days nor less than ten (10)
days prior to each public hearing.
B. Additional notice by Certified Mail should be given
to railroad companies serving the City and on the
City' s tax roll where the right-of-way is located
within the territory to be annexed.
Section 4 . That this resolution shall take effect from and
