The plans are submitted as a commercial interior/exterior remodel. In addition to the proposed feature wall we only want to paint the existing brick and metal fascia to reflect a fresh look to the neighborhood. As for the interior, we will be keeping the existing walk -in -cooler in it's current location, updating the sales counter laminates while keeping the original location, new restrooms, interior lighting, floor the and painting. Originally approved by Council in January, 1990 (CU89-18) the Hanson Hank's convenience store located at the southwest corner of Hall -Johnson Road and the southbound service road of William D. Tate Avenue has been relatively unchanged since that time other than the addition of a 20 foot pylon sign approved in December 1990. The applicant proposes a minor exterior and interior remodel to improve the look of the aging building. Exterior changes include the addition of raised metal clad architectural feature with signage and painting the exterior brick walls.
