RESOLUTION NO. 84-03
A RESOLUTION EXTENDING A TEMPORARY MORATORIUM ON
REZONING,PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMITS, SPECIFIC USE
PERMITS AND SITE PLAN PERMITS AND BUILDING PERMITS IN
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS FOR AN ADDITIONAL
THIRTY (30) DAYS
WHEREAS, by the passage of Resolution No. 83-34 on September 6, 1983,
which resolution was amended by the passage of Resolution No. 83-40 on
��� September 20, 1983 the City imposed a moratorium of 150 days in length from
September 6, 1983 on the issuance of Building Permits and the acceptance and
processing of zoning cases within certain areas of the City and in accordance
with certain guidelines and standards; and
WHEREAS, the 150 day moratorium is due to expire on the 3rd day
of Febru�ry, 1984; and
WHEREAS the Planning and Zoning Commission, City Council, Citizens
and City Staff have been diligently pursuing the goals outlined in the
moratorium; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has concluded based on the City Staff's
recommendation, that it is necessary, appropriate and fair to extend the
moratorium for an additional thirty (30) days.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the 150 day moratorium imposed by the passage of the
City of Grapevine, Resolution No. 83-34 is hereby extended in its entirety for
, an additional 30 days and Section 5 of said resolution is hereby amended
accordingly to extend the moratorium from 150 days to 180 days.
}� Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from its passage and it
is so ordered.
