CITY OF GRAPEVINE
RESOLUTION APPROVING AN EXCEPTION TO THE MORA-
TORIUM RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GRA PEVINE, TEXAS,
SAME BEING RESOLUTION NO. 83-34
�. .. WHEREAS, the City Council passed Resolution No. 83-34 on the 6th day
of September, 19�3, and amended same to extend said moratorium through May
3, 1984, which resolution imposed a moratorium on the issuance of Building

Permits and the processing of new zoning cases in certain defined areas of the
City for a stated period of time to permit and allow consideration o the
adoption of a Zoning Map for the entire City pursuant to Ordinance No. 82-73
and the Grapevine Comprehensive Master Plan, 1974-1994, Update 1980; and
WHEREAS, the Moratorium Resolution authorizes the granting of Excep-
tions after Public Notice, a Public Hearing, and upon the City Council making
certain findings.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS:
Section 1. The City Council does hereby find that all notice and
procedural requirements required by the Moratorium Resolution have been duly
complied with, including the holding of a Public Hearing, relative to the
application filed by WILLIAM B. COTTON, 11107 Orsini Place, Austin, Texas
78750, which application (Subject Application) was heard by the City Council on
the 27th day of March, 1984.
Section 2. The City Council further finds, based upon evidence
presented to it, that deferral of action as to desired Building Permit for the
duration of the moratorium, as imposed by the Moratorium Resolutions, wot�ld
� impose an extraordinary hardship on the Applicant.

Section 3. Based on the above, the City Council does hereby grant
WILLIAM B. COTTON an Exception as requested pursuant to the Moratorium
Resolutions on the following conditions:
a. Application for Building Permit to be applied for and obtained
within six (6) months of the passage of this Resolution.
b. The Permit Application, the attendant Building Permit and all
subsequent construction shall be in conformity with all require-
ments, conditions, restrictions and limitations inchided within P-Q,
Professional Office District under Ordinance No. 82-73.
