A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS AUTHOR-
IZING THE DRAFTING OF AN ORDINANCE
RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF THREE
TRACTS OF LAND DESCRIBED HEREIN
WHEREAS, petitions requesting the annexations of certain
�
tracts of land were submitted; and
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the institution of
annexation procedures; and
WHEREAS, the City Council called, advertised, and held
public hearings on the matter as required by Article 970A,
Municipal Annexation Act; and
WHEREAS, no public opposition was voiced regarding the
annexations; and
WHEREAS, the Grapevine City Council is of the opinion
that the annexation of the petitioned property would be in
the best interest of the citizens of Grapevine.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS :
Section 1 . That the City Attorney is hereby directed
�` � and authorized to draft an ordinance for the purpose of
annexing the three tracts of land described in Exhibits A,

B, & C, attached hereto and made a part hereof.
Section 2. That this resolution shall take effect from
and after its passage.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GRAPEVINE, TEXAS on this the 6th day of July, 1982 .
