A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF GRA.PEVINE REPEALING
RESOLUTION #77-10 PASSED BY THE GR.APEVINE CITY
COUNCIL ON APRIL 26, 1977 WHICH RESOLUTION
CREATED AN INDUSTRIAL COMMITTEE AND PROVIDING
FOR THE CREATION OF .AN INDUSTRIAL COMMITTEE
WITH A DIFFERENT METHOD OF SELECTING MEMBERS
AND PROVIDING FOR TERMS OF SAID MEMBERS.

WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas deems it necessazy
�,,, to establish an Industrial Committee.
WHEREAS, said Industrial Committee shall have the follow-
ing objectives:
1. To actively market and promote industrial and
commercial enterprises to locate in Grapevine.
2. To provide necessary information to prospective
compans.es in an efficient and organized manner.
3. To analyze present utility services and recommend
extensions , improvements, or other facilities that
will encourage use of land not presently developed.
4. To analyze the present highway, rail, and street
facilities and recommend extensions, improvements
or new facilities that will better provide the
necessary aceess to potential industrial and
commercial land.
5. To determine long term needs for water and sewer
� facilities to adequately serve the projected growth
of Grapevine.

WHEREAS, said committee shall consist of the following
members and term of off ice:
Eight members of whom are either citizens of Grapevine or
are directly involved in local business or industry, or who
own business or industrial property in the city limits of
Grapevine shall be appointed by the City Council for a one (1)
year term; and
The City Council may, in its discretion appoint three (3)
members of the City Council to also serve on the Industrial
Committee.
NOW, THERERORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OR GRAPEVINE.
Section l. Resolution 77-10 is hereby repealed.
Section 2. There is hereby created and established an
�" Industrial Committee whose objectives and goals are those
listed in 1 through 5 above.
�r Section 3. The membership of the Industrial Committee
shall consist of eight (8) members , who are either citizens
of Grapevine, or are directly involved in local business or
industry in the City Limits of Grapevine or who own business
or industrial property in the City Limits of Grapevine.
Members shall be appointed by the City Council for a term
of one (1) year.
Section 4. The Council, in its discretion, may appoint
three (3) members of the City Council to serve on said Indus-
trial Committee as additional members for a term of one (1)
year.
