RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING AN INDUSTRIAL COMMITTEE, COMMITTEE
MEMBERS, AND TERMS OF SAID MEMBERS.

WHEREAS, the City of Grapevine, Texas deems it necessary
to establish an Industrial Committee.

WHEREAS, said Industrial Committee shall have the
�,� following objectives:
1. To actively market and promote industrial and
commercial enterprises to locate in Grapevine.
2. To provide necessary information to prospective
coanpanies in an efficient and organized manner.
3 . To analyze present utility services and recommend
extentions, improvements, or other facilities
that will encourage use of land not presently
developed.
4. To analyze the present highway, rail, and street
facilities and recommend extensions, improvements
or new facilities that will better provide the
necessary access to potential industrial and
commercial land.
5. To determine long term needs for water and sewer
facilities to adequately serve the projected
growth of Grapevine.

WHEREAS, said committee shall consist of the following
members and term of office:
Three (3) members of the Grapevine City Council to be
appointed by the Mayor. These persons shall
serve a term of one (1) year
Six (6) members to be chosen by the three committee
members of the City Council. Said six names to
be submitted before the City Council for approval.
These six persons shall serve a term of one year.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Grapevine
� that the establishment of an Industrial Committee is herein made;
and that Mayor William D. Tate, or his successor, is hereby
authorized and directed to appoint three (3) members of the
City Council to serve on said committee.
