Mayor Tate called the meeting t� order. �
� The inv��cation was given by Jerry J�.rdan.

� Mayor Tate opened the public hearing on Zon� Change Application
Z74-7 on which Don Gerschick requested "G2" Community Business k
District Zoning on Lot 3, Block ?_, W. C. Lucas Addition and the
� adjacent alley. Don Gerschick made the presentati.on in his bP- �
half. He explained that the "C-2" 7_�r�ins �n the Lot 3 and adjacent =`
alley, deede� to him by the City, comt�ined with his property adja- �
cent �o Hic�hway 114 Busi_ness would be well suited for a small �.
j shopping center type development. He also pointed out that the �
' lot to the north of his lot 3 is zonecl ��C-1" C'ommur.ity Bu�iness �
� District. Mayor Tate gave r�pportuni ty for members of the Cit��
Council, Planning & Zoning Co*nmi_ssion, and persons pres�nt to� �'

Z74-8 on whi.ch Metzger Dairies, Inc . r.equested Specific Use Permit
�istrict-commercial and busine�_ uses�alcoholic beverages for
; off premises consumpti�n on a tract of land in the Alex Thomps�n
' Survey, Abstract 1532. Mr. F. M. Parman of Mr. M Foo�i Stores
made the presentation. He explained th�t hi= firm had leased the
newly constructed building for a Mr. M. Rood Store and that the
sale of beer for off-premises consumption would be an important
part of the. store�s service. Mayor Tate gave opportunity for
