C. SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE TO CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING RELATIVE TO CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST C000-70 CENCOR REALTY SUBMITTED BY RAYMOND POCHE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2050 GLADE ROAD AND CONSIDERATION OF SAME. III. MINUTES SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE TO CONSIDER THE MINUTES OF THE OCTOBER 18, 2000 REGULAR MEETING. IV. RON STOMBAUGH PLANNER II DEVELOPMENT SERVICES SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE NOVEMBER 30, 2000 STATE OF TEXAS COUNTY OF TARRANT CITY OF GRAPEVINE The Site Plan Review Committee of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Session, on this the 30th day of November, 2000, in the City Council Chambers, 200 South Main Street, 1St Floor, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present -to -wit: Larry Oliver Chairman Sharron Spencer Vice Chairman H. T. (Tommy) Hardy Director of Development Services constituting of a quorum, and the following City Staff: Ron Stombaugh Cindy Jackson Stephen Kindrick Pamela Huntress CALL TO ORDER Planner II Planner II Planner II Planning Secretary Larry Oliver called the meeting to order at 2:01 p.m. PUBLIC HEARING C000-60 — CONOCO First for the Committee to consider and make a recommendation to the City Council was Conditional Use Request C000-60 submitted by Donald Peebles for property located at 424 East Northwest Highway and platted as Lot 2, Block 2, A. F. Leonard Addition. The applicant was requesting a conditional use permit to amend the previously approved site plan of CU97-17 (Ord.97-58) specifically, to allow for a 20 -foot pole sign at the northeast corner of the property. This item was tabled and will be considered at the 12/19/00 meeting. CONDITIONAL USE APPLICATION C000-61- POOCH PALACE Next for the Committee to consider was Conditional Use Request C000-61 submitted by Raymond Poche for property located at,'2100 West Northwest Highway, Suite 205 and platted as Lot 4, Grapevine Plaza Addition. The applicant was requesting a conditional use 113000 SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE f NOVEMBER 30, 2000 �$-03 permit to amend the previously approved site plan of C1*9--26 (Ord -88 ) for a planned commercial center with the possession, storage, retail sales, and on and off -premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, and mixed drinks) specifically, to allow a boarding facility for cats and dogs in the existing leased space. Mr. Raymond Poche, the applicant, was present to answer questions and request favorable consideration of the request. With no further questions, guests to speak, no letters or petitions, the public hearing was closed. Discussion followed regarding adequate space available for walking the animals as well as maximum occupancy. Mrs. Spencer made a motion, with a second by Mr. Hardy, to approve Conditional Use Request C000-61 with the condition that no boarding be allowed, and the motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver, Spencer, and Hardy Nays: None C000-70 — CENCOR REALTY First for the Committee to consider and make a recommendation to the City Council was Conditional Use Request C000-70 submitted by Raymond Poche for property located at 2050 Glade Road and platted as Lot 8R, Mulberry Square Addition. The applicant was requesting to amend the previously approved site plan of C000-51 (Ord.00-115) specifically, to locate a monument sign along Glade Road on Lot 8R, Mulberry Square Addition. The applicant was proposing to locate a nine -foot by nine -foot monument sign at the northeast corner of William D. Tate Avenue and Glade Road. Five monument signs currently serve the shopping center with four monument signs located along the northbound service road of William D. Tate Avenue and one monument sign located along Glade Road. This request would bring the total number of monument signs within the shopping center to six. With no further questions, guests to speak, letters or petitions, the public hearing was closed. Mr. Hardy moved, with a second by Mrs. Spencer, to approve Conditional Use Request C000-70, and the motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver, Spencer, and Hardy Nays: None 113000 2 SITE PLAN REVIEW COMMITTEE NOVEMBER 30, 2000 END OF PUBLIC HEARING CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Next for the Commission to consider were the minutes of the October 18, 2000 Site Plan Review Committee meeting. Mr. Hardy moved, with a second by Mrs. Spencer, to approve the Site Plan Review Committee minutes of October 18, 2000. The motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver, Spencer, and Hardy Nays: None ADJOURNMENT With nothing further business to discuss, Sharon Spencer moved, with a second by Mr. Hardy, to adjourn the meeting at 2:32 p.m. and the motion prevailed by the following vote: Ayes: Oliver, Spencer, and Hardy Nays: None PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS ON THIS THE 201h DAY OF DECEMBER, 2000.
