The Invocation was given by Don Stiles. � Mayor Tate opened the public hearing on zoning application (Z-73-18) , Phillip Bulman requesting "SP" Specific Use Permit District - alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption on a tract of land in the A.Leonard Survey. (Bulman Produce, 503 W. Northwest Highway) . Phillip Bulman spoke on behalf of the zoning application . He stated there would not be an}� alter�tionG to the builc�ing; th? bPez would be stoxed and s�ld tvi±hin the bui].din�; there wil.l be one professionally painted sign with (10") letters stating "BEER" hanging under his present sign . With no further discussion of zoning application (Z-73-18) , Mayor Tate closed the public hearing. Mayor Tate opened the public hearing on zoning applicati.on �� (Z-73-19) , N.M. McCuan requesting "SP" Specific Use Permit District - alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption I on a tract of land in the E. Moore Survey. (Mac' s Corner Grocery, 1p98 E. Northwest Highway� . N.M. McCuan spoke on behalf of the zoninq application. He stated there would not be any alterations to the building with the exception of adding a cooler ; there will be one "BEER" sign ; adequate parking will be provided. With no further discussion of zoning appliaation (Z-73-19) , Mayor Tate closed the public hearing. �1 � �: � � � �; � � Mayor Tate opened the public hearing on zoning application t (Z-73-20) , Gary Bartley and Bobby Weddle requesting "SP+' Specific Use Permit District - alcoholic beverages for on- premise consumption on Lots 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and the North � of Lot 8, all in Block 1 , Original Town of Grapevine. (Bartley' s Bar-B-Que, 216 Main Street) . Bobby Weddle stated they planned only to sale beer at this ��" time. � ' `r Discussion was held by Council members concerning restricting � the applicant to the sale of beer only. Mayor Tate asked Mr. � Weddle if he would object to such a restriction. Mr. Weddle stated he would not object. Mayor Tate stated if at a later date the applicant �vished to sale mixed drinks, a new application would be required. The Mayor stated it was his understanding that the city, by ordinance, may be more restrictive than the State law. With no further discussion on zoning application (Z-73-20) , Mayor Tate closed the public hearing. Mayor Tate opened the public hearing on zoning application (Z-73-21� , Darell McDaniel requesting "SP" Specific Use Permit ' District - alcoholic beverages for off-premise consumption on � Blocks 13 and 14 of the Starr Addition. � (Quick-Shop #31 , 330 W. Northwest Highway� � Darell McDaniel spoke on behalf of the zoning application. He stated there would not be any alterations �o the building; and there would be one "BEER" sign. � � Councilman Parker stated he would like to limit the applicants to the sale of alcoholic beverages to the present structure.
