Grapevine Mills Addition, Phase 2 and consideration of same.

The Site Plan Review Committee of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in Session, on this the
27tn day of August, 2003, in the Director of Development Services Office, 200 South Main
Street, First Floor, Grapevine, Texas with the following members present-to-wit:
Larry Oliver Chairman
H. T. (Tommy) Hardy Member
constituting a quorum, and the following City Staff:

CALL TO ORDER
Chairm�n �liver called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m.

CONDITIONAL USE REQUEST—CU03-27 — BASS PRO SHOPS
First for the Committee to consider was Conditional Use Request CU03-27 submitted by
Butler, Rosenbury, and Partners for property located at 2501 Bass Pro Drive and platted as
Lot 3, Block 1,�Grapevine Mills Addition, Phase 2. The applicant was requesting to amend
the previously approved site plan of CU99-35 (Ord. 99-114) for a planned commercial
center in excess of 1,000,000 square feet of gross leasable space with the possession,
storage, retail sale and on-premise consumption of alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, and
mixed drinlcs), spscifica!!y to a11oN� for the addition of a 28 foot archery rar�ge on the sou#h
fa�ade of the building with the shed roof to match the existing roof.
With this request the applicant intends to create a 28-foot by 108-foot expansion to the
existing Bass Pro building on the structure's southern elevation for use as an archery range.
The existing archery range was converted to a "fine gun room" creating a need o expand
the building for a new archery range.
Mr. Hardy moved, with a second by Mr. Oliver, to approve Conditional Use Request CU03-
27, and the motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Oliver and Hardy

CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES
Next for the Committee to consider were the Site Plan Review Committee minutes of July
23, 2003 meeting.
Mr. Oliver moved, with a second by Mr. Hardy, to approve the minutes of July 23, 2003 Site
Plan Review Committee, and the motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Oliver and Hardy
Nays: None
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to discuss, Mr. Hardy moved, with a second by Mr. Oliver, to
adjourn the meeting at 9:04a.m. and the motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Oliver and Hardy
Nays: None
