The purpose of the joint meeting was for public hearings on Zone Change Applications Z 70-8 and Z 70-9. Mayor Pirkle declared Public Hearing open. Rezone Application Z 70-8 was considered. Lewis Jones requested � "G" Local Business District Zoning on his Lot 301�'Il, Abstract 946. Persons present were given an opportunity to be heard. No one was present either for or against the application. Rezone Application Z 70-9 was considered. D. D. Patteson, E.E. Francis, Fenton Al1ey and Ruth Bell requested "C & D" Multiple Dwelling District on Lots 6 and 7, Block 2, Bellaire Addition. Persons present were given an opportunity to be heard. Fenton Al1ey and E. E. Francis were present and Mr. Alley spoke in behalf of the application.
