On the 14th day of August, 1970, at 7:30 P.M. , the City Council �
o� the City of Grapevine, Texas met in a call meeting in the �'

City H�31 for the purpose of consideration of the subjects on
the attached agenda.
The following members were present:

Secretary Don Wilson. �

Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order and Councilman Harwell
gave the invocation.
Mayor Pirkle opened the meeting for consideration of the
;;; matter of the request of the St. Louis and Southwestern Rail- �
road for the City to withdraw opposition to the closing of
the local Depot and removal of the depot office activities �'
to the Carrollton Depot. Mr. Ellis of the Railroad introduced �
the following Railroad officials: �

L. E. Schaefer
L. C. Edmonds

J. K. Jacobs

, Mr. Roach, related information previously presented by the �
Railroad and requested withdrawal of the City' s opposition �
to the Depot closing. After further discussion, Councilman �'
Eidson made a motion to decline the request of the Railroad �
for the City to withdraw opposition to the closing of the �
local Depot. Motion seconded by Councilman Harwell. Motion �
prevailed by the following vote: �

Rezone Application Z 70-23, on which Mae Vonne �lyche Martin �'
requested "M-H" Mobile Home Park Zoning District on her �
property in the Thompson Survey, was considered. The Plann- �
ing and Zoning Commission recommended to approve the request �
for the area referred to as Tract I on the application. F.
Councilman Eidson made a motion to grant a Specific Use Permit 4
for Mobile Home Park Operation on Tract I and to pass Ordinance �
70-31 authorizing the change. Motion secon�ed by Councilman �
Harwell. Motion prevailed by the following vote: �'
