Home My WebLink About1971-06-15 Joint Meeting 339 ; Reel 18, Side I Start 000, End 382 STATE OF TEXAS � COUNTY OF TARRANT � CITY OF GRAPEVINE � On the 15th day of June 1971 at 7:30 P.M. the City Council and � the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in joint meeting with the following members present: City Council Willis Pirkle Mayor Lee Thompson ) Tommy �idson ) Councilmen A1 Harwell ) Phil parker ) Counciltnan Dalton was absent. Planning & Zoning Commission Ted Ware Joe Kennedy Harlen Joyce Jerry Jordan Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Councilman Thompson gave the invocation. The purpose of the joint meeting was for public hearing on zone , change application Z 71-14 on which Joe N. Box and C. G. Lavender requested "R-3" biultiple Family Zoning on Lot l, Abstract 1453 in R. R. Splane Survey. Mr. Box presented the zoning change re- quest �o the council and Planning and Zoning Commission. No one voiced any objection to the zoning change request. ' Mr. Virgil R. Sanders was present and presented zone change ; application Z 71-15 on which Lakeside Development, a general ; partnership requested C-2 zoning and Mr. Truman Berry requested ' R-3 zoning on certain tracts marked Exhibit A and Exhibit B on the zoning change application. All persons present were given ' an opportunity to express their opinion on the zoning change re- quest. Among those present were Mr. Hobbie, Mr. Crawford, Mr. : Williams and Mr. Murphy who objected to the zoning change. � Mayor Pirkle declared the public hearing closed and instructed the Planning and Zoning Commission to make their report to the Council at the next regular meeting on July 6th. The purpose of � the revision was to change names of streets, ownership and � name of sub-division to Lake Crest Estates . Councilman Eidson � � made a motion to approve the plat as submitted. Councilman � parker seconded the motion . Motion prevailed by the following � vote: � � € Ayes ; Councilmen Thompson, Harwell, Eidson and Parker . Councilman Eidson made a motian to appoint Dr. Joe M. Allisox� : City Health Officer for 1971-1972. Cauncilman Thompsan seconded the motion. ' Noes: None Councilma� Harwell made a motion to enter in�o an agreement with Dan McKee for water on a temporary basis for placid Peninsula.
