CITY OF GRAPEVINE
ORDINANCE � �g-34
AN ORDINANCE RENEWING AND EXTENDING THE
GRANTING OF A TAXI CAB FRANCHISE TO HUGH
M. WAITE, D/B/A METROPLEX CAB CO; AND PROVIDING
RATES TO BE CHARGED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE,
TEXAS:
Section I. That a franchise to operate a taxicab service in the city
limits of the City of Grapevine is hereby granted to Hugh M. Waite d/6/a
Metroplex Cab Company for a period of one (I) year from the effective date
of this ordinance in accordance with the City Charter (Art. 10, Sec . 10:02).
Section 2. Rates to be charged by the franchisee are as follows:
$.90 for the first 1/3 mile
.20 for each 1/5 mile
$2.00 minimum on any call
; Section 3. Hugh M. Waite d/b/a Metroplex Cab Company hereby
�, acknowledges by the acceptance of this franchise the necessity to comply with
all i+erms of all CityOrdinanaes r�elating to the operation of Taxicab Services
within the City and all other Ordinances of the City and laws of the State of
Texas and to accept this franchise in writing.
DULY PASSED by the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas,
on the first reading on this the 2� day of June , 1978.
DULY PASSED by the City Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas,
on the second reading on this the lst day of August , 1978.
