On the first day of F'ebruary 1972 at 8:00 P.M. the City
Council of the City of Grapevine, Texas met in regular meet-
ing with the following members present:
Willis Pirkle Mayor

Doil Dalton )
Lee Thompson )
Eouncilman Parker was absent.
Mayor Pirkle called the meeting to order. Councilman Harwell
gave the invocation.
A written Resolution I�irecting Delivery of Certificates of
Obligation was duly introduced for the consideration of the
City Council and read in full .
Councilman Eidson made a motion to adopt Resolution R72-7.
Councilman Dalton seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by
the following vote: ;
Ayes: Councilmen Harwell , Eidson, Dalton and TY�npson.
Noes: None
Councilman Dalton made a motion to pass Ordinance 72-4 on
second reading. Councilman Thmmpson seconded the motion.
The motion prevailed by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Harwell , Eidson, Dalton and Thompson.

ORDINANCE 72-4
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND
THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVIN�, TEXAS,
SO AS TO CHANGE THE ZONING DISTRICTS OF' CERTAIN
PROPERTY OF' JOE L. WRIGHT AND GARY KIRKLAND,
TRUSTEE FROM "R-2" TWO-FAMILY DWELLING ZONING
TO "C-2" COMMtJNITY BUSINESS DISTRICT ZONI1�iG AND
PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE.
The Planning & Zoning Commission� s report on zone change
application Z 72-1 on which Clayton Kramer requested Planned
Development Zoning was read.
Councilman Eidson made a motion to pass Ordinance 72-5 on
first reading , and that a site plan as signed and submitted
by Mr. Kramer be incorporated in the ordinance. Councilman
Dalton seconded the motion. Motion prevailed by the following
vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Harwell, Thompson, Dalton and Eidson.
Noes : None • .
ORDINANCE 72-5
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND
THE ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS,
SO AS TO CHANGE THE ZONING DISTRICTS OF' CERTAIN
PROPERTY OF CLAYTON KRAMER FROM "A" SINGLE
FAMILY DWELLING TO "PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT"
AND PROVIDING FOR A SAVINGS CLAUSE.

CITY OF GRAPEVINE, TEXAS; PROVIDING DEFINITIONS;
REQUIRING A PERMIT TO ERECT A F'ENCE OR PERMANENT
CONSTRUCTION; REQUIRING AN APPLICATION TO BE FILED
ROR A PERMIT; REQUIRING A PERMIT FEE; PROHIBITING
THE ERECTION OF FENCES OVER PUBLIC PROPERTY; PRO-
` 1 VIDING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FENCES
IN REAR YARDS; PROVIDING REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF F'ENCES IN SIDE YARDS; PROVIDING

Councilman Eidson made a motion for the Mayor, City Manager
and CityAttorney to employ John Broyles to assist in working
out agreements with the Airport Board. Councilman Harwell
seconded the motion. The Motion prevailed by the following
